Adib Saani

Adib is the Executive Director of the Jatikay Centre for Human Security and Peace Building and doubles as the CEO of Jatikay Security, an IT-based security systems and services provider. He is an Executive Council Member of the Coalition of CSOs against the Proliferation of Small Arms and Light Weapons and a training consultant with Doyen Institute of Intelligence and Investigation, I-ZAR Group, and Knowledge Tree International, amongst other institutions.

Adib was a Communication Officer of the World Bank Financed Ghana Integrated Financial Management Information System. Adib is a Small Arms Commission Validation Team member on the Legislative Regime on Conventional Arms Regulation. He is also a member of the Institute of Public Relations (IPR Ghana) and the Ghana Journalist’ Association (GJA) and has worked with several media houses in Ghana.

He has a Master of Science (MSc) in Defense and International Politics from the Ghana Armed Forces Command & Staff College, Masters in NGO Management and Rural Development from the University for Development Studies, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Sociology from the University of Ghana. Adib Saani is a PhD Candidate in Criminology at Cape Town University, South Africa.

He is a certified Specialist in Conflict Analysis and Mediation from the Kofi Annan International Peace Keeping Training Centre, making him an automatic African Union Mediators Roll member. He is also certified in Cyber Security and Forensics, Terrorism and Counter-Terrorism, and Security Intelligence and Forensics. He is a frequent face on TV and remains one of the most sought-after security analysts in Ghana and on the international stage, as he has been featured severally on BBC, Aljazeera, Radio France International, SABC, DW, and VOA, amongst others.
